AQPP Congress 2024-2025: What we learned alongside you
In 2024 and 2025, the PHARMALEAD team had the privilege of participating in the annual Congress of the Quebec Association of Pharmacy Owners (AQPP) at the Quebec City Convention Centre. Two years of meetings, exchanges, and learning that have strengthened our commitment to the Quebec pharmaceutical sector.
Here is what we learned from these experiences.
Proximity remains at the heart of everything
The theme of the 2024 congress — “For a sustainable local network, for the benefit of patients” — still resonates today. This vision of proximity aligns perfectly with our approach to digital marketing: every online interaction is an opportunity to bring your pharmacy closer to its community.
The conversations we have had with pharmacist-owners confirm what we observe daily: patients are looking for a human and authentic connection, both in-store and on social media.
Digital technology is no longer optional.
The adoption of Bill 67, which grants pharmacists greater autonomy, has transformed the profession. Pharmacies are now positioning themselves as true community health centers. But this evolution must extend beyond the physical walls.
What the pharmacists told us:

▸ The need to be visible where their patients spend time;
▸ The growing importance of managing Google and Facebook reviews.
