A marketing column designed for pharmacists (by Marilou Brouillet)
Since my beginnings in local marketing, I have always believed that pharmacies could benefit from being more visible, more human and closer to their community.
I've lost count of the times I've heard pharmacists tell me they lack the time, tools, and knowledge to get started on social media or to promote their clinical services. This observation has always motivated me to find concrete solutions tailored to your specific situation.
So, when the opportunity arose to write a marketing column for Profession Santé , I jumped at it. For me, it's much more than just a writing project. It's a chance to speak directly to pharmacists, healthcare teams, and all those who want to showcase their expertise in a concrete and supportive way.
A personal commitment
Over the years, I have seen the impact of a well-crafted communication strategy: more patients at the counter, a better understanding of the services offered, and increased visibility for the pharmacy.
But most importantly, I saw how this digital and local proximity could create a climate of trust with patients. People want to know who you are, what you do, and why they can rely on you. Well-executed local marketing answers precisely these questions.
Writing for Profession Santé means participating in this great movement to bring healthcare professionals and their clients closer together.
Practical resources to make your pharmacy shine
Each column is an opportunity for me to share practical tips, talk about real-life cases, and propose marketing solutions adapted to the realities on the ground in pharmacies.
My goal: to inspire you and equip you so that your patients know you better.
